Last name first, then first and middle names. Avoid the use of initials. Does your site have multiple authors? Are they authors or editors?


Title & subtitle of the page
This page is a smaller unit of information (i.e. article) featured on a larger, or main page. Therefore it is presented in quotes. If you are citing a main page, skip this section. End with a period - "Museum."


Title and subtitle of the mainpage
Underline and end with a period - The Briar Press.


Date of electronic publication, of the latest update, or of posting
Use appropriate abbreviation for month. If you cannot find a date of publication, follow this link for the proper way of citing a source with no date of publication. End with a period - 2005.


Date when the researcher accessed the source
Date you accessed (viewed) the page. Use the appropriate abbreviation for months - 11 Jan. 2007

Web address, or URL, of the source
