The concert of sacred choral music is free and the public is welcome.
St. Scholastica’s choirs are directed by William Bastian, the region’s most popular tenor and a member of the St. Scholastica music faculty.
The concert will include works by Bach, Brahms, Bruckner, Praetorius and Randall Thompson.
“This is all music of a very uplifting, praise-esque nature -- much of which includes the word ‘alleluia’ in its text,” Bastian said. “The music is treated in a variety of ways, from overtly happy to quietly introverted.”
