CSS Network Password Self-Service Information

Forgot your Password?

NOTE: You must configure your Challenge Questions before you can use this service. (see link below)

Your CSS network password is used for the following systems:
  • CSS Network login (Campus computers i.e. Labs)
  • Groupwise e-mail
  • NetStorage
  • WebCT 6
  • ResNet (Clean Access)
  • Wireless network access

Note: This does not affect your Banner Web login

What is the CSS Network Password Self-Service?

Password Self-Service is designed to allow you to reset your CSS Network Password without having to call the Helpdesk. It is available 24 hours a day and is accessible from anywhere you have an internet connection. To be able to use Password Self-Service you need to configure your Challenge Questions ahead of time. The Challenge Questions allow you to verify your identity to the network and then reset your password.

If you have already configured your Challenge Questions, you can use the following "Forgotten Password" link to reset your password.

If you have not configured your Challenge Questions, you will need to contact the HelpDesk to have your password reset. Once it has been reset, you will want to configure your Challenge Questions for future use.

Remember - To use Password Self-Service, you must configure your Challenge Questions BEFORE you need to use it.
