Attention Nursing Grads!Join us at Reunion 2007 on the Duluth campus as we remember our Nursing program's past and celebrate what it has become today!IIn the 100 years since St. Mary's Hospital Training School for Nurses opened its doors in 1908 to the young women who aspired to be the finest nurses possible, St. Mary's Medical Center and The College of St. Scholastica combined their strengths to fulfill those ambitions. Since the mid-1990s, St. Scholastica has collaborated with St. Luke's Hospital. The School of Nursing at St. Scholastica currently partners with over 100 agencies to educate our students. With deep pride, this anniversary celebration is dedicated to our nurse graduates!
Saturday, June 23 - Schedule of nursing anniversary activities
| 8 - 11:15 a.m. | Bus tour of St. Mary’s Medical Center Space limited; must pre-register. Meet at Mitchell Auditorium entry. | | 11:30 a.m. | All-Alumni Mass, Our Lady Queen of Peace Chapel. | | Noon – 1:00 | All-Alumni Picnic Buffet, Storm’s Den | | 1-1:30 p.m. | Display from the archives of our School of Nursing history, 3rd Fl, Science | | 1:30 p.m. | Celebratory program with the School of Nursing update including the new Doctor of Nursing Practice degree (DNP) and anniversary cake | | 2 - 3 p.m. | Stations: see the new additions to clinical teaching such as our various computerized mannequins including Bennie, Noelle (who delivers babies) and our baby simulator | | 4 p.m. | Treats and Tea with the Sisters, Rockhurst Dining Hall | | 5 p.m. | All-Alumni Social, Mitchell Foyer | | 6 p.m. | Program, Mitchell Auditorium | | 7:30 p.m. | Grand Banquet, Greenview Dining Room |
