Women's Soccer - vs. Martin Luther College
WIN STREAK REACHES 11 WITH SHUTOUT AT MARTIN LUTHER

The Saints continued their dominance of Martin Luther College with a 5-0 shutout on Friday afternoon in New Ulm, Minnesota, running their win streak to 11 games and their unscored upon streak to six games.

Earlier in the season, the Saints pounded the Knights 11-0 at Public Schools Stadium in Duluth.

Nikki Seguin, whose first goal of the season was the final goal in the earlier win over the Knights, scored a pair of goals Friday. After not scoring in the team's first 11 games, Seguin has found the scoring touch that moved her into the top-10 of the teams' career points list through her first three seasons by scoring five goals in the past four games, all wins for the Saints.

Freshman Angie Groh, and sophomores Kayla Heinzen and Robin Johnson each scored once for the Saints. Johnson, Groh and Mandy Hanson picked up an assist apiece in the victory.

Freshman Kelly Vilen was in goal for the Saints and picked up her fourth win of the season behind a defense -- and ball-control offense -- that allowed but one shot the entire game by the host Knights.
