Women's Cross Country - vs. Millikin University Invitational
PAIR OF BEST TIMES LEADS SAINTS AT MILLIKIN CLASSIC
Both Erin Reicks and Stacy Kantola raced to best times over the 6,000 meter course on Friday afternoon at the Millikin Classic in Forshythe, Illinois.
Reicks' 8th place time of 24 minutes and 19 seconds was a personal best for a 6K race while Kantola's 24:35 was her season best and placed her 13th overall at the meet.
Brittany Peterson was just off her season best, finishing 26th with a time of 25:18.
The trio, who were the only Saints runners to qualify for the Classic race, and their teammates have the next weekend off as they progress through their final preparations to defend their UMAC title at the conference championship on October 28.
