Women's Volleyball - vs. UW-SUPERIOR
UWS STUNS SAINTS WITH QUICK VICTORY

After the last match between the two teams, it wasn’t surprising that no one left their seat after the Saints lost game two and went down two games to none.

On September 16th the Saints rallied from a 2-1 deficit to take the match 3-2 on their home floor.

This time around though, Superior (13-11) stung the Saints with a 30-28 win in game three to put the match away, stretching a win streak in which they have not lost a single game.

St. Scholastica had trouble getting in synch all match long, giving up a number of points on serve receives and totaling 23 attacking errors while UWS registered only 14 in the match.

Two-time UMAC Defensive Specialist of the Week Diana Moody had 14 digs to lead the Saints and zero errors for 30 service receptions.

UMAC league leader Kati Berscheit had 31 set assists in the loss.

St. Scholastica (11-11, 2-2 UMAC) will try to rebound with home conference matches on Friday night at 7 p.m. against Crown College (4-11, 0-4) and then on Saturday against Northwestern College (7-13, 2-2) at 1 p.m.
