Women's Soccer - vs. Luther College
SAINTS WOMEN’S SOCCER FALLS IN TOURNAMENT FINAL Three earn All-Tournament Team honors

There were no late-game heroics for the Saints today as they lost to the host team 1-0 in Sunday’s Luther College Classic tournament final.

The Norse scored the lone goal of the game in the 54th minute and were able to keep the Saints out of the net to preserve the victory.

Yesterday, senior Keely Raab shot the Saints to an overtime victory over Lawrence (Wis.) University with 30 seconds remaining in the overtime period
but neither Raab nor her teammates were able to rescue the Saints today.

Goalkeeper Kelly Momsen stopped six shots in taking her first loss of the season.

The Saints weren’t without their opportunities as they took 14 shots and put six
of them on the Norse goal. They also had six corner kick chances while limiting Luther to only three.

St. Scholastica falls to 2-1-1 and Luther ups their record to 3-1-0 on the year.

A trio of Saints earned All-Tournament honors led by Saturday’s hero, senior forward Keely Raab. Junior midfielder Shannon Kresky and junior defender Becky Fisher joined Raab on the All-Tournament squad.
