St. Scholastica opened with a 3-0 loss to Nebraska Wesleyan in their first match at the Saint Mary's Sugarloaf Classic in Winona, Minnesota on Friday afternoon.
Sophomore setter Katie Berscheit had 24 assists in the three-game match and also tied with Amy Thompson in digs, both picking up 13 in the loss.
Defensive specialist Diana Moody led the Saints with 24 digs.
The Saints (0-6) will try to get one in the victory column later on the day when they battle Gustavus Adolphus at the Classic.
