The St. Scholastica women successfully defended their title at the Tom Barry Invitational in Green Bay, Wisconsin, by outdistancing runner-up Ripon (Wis.) College, accumulating 86 points to the Red Hawk's 94 points.

Erin Reicks finished in 10th place overall to lead the Saints, racing through the 5K course in a time of 20 minutes and 48 seconds.

Jessica Weickert (11th, 20:49), Stacy Kantola (16th, 20:59), Brittany Peterson (18th, 21:05) and Megan Salo (31st, 21:58) rounded out the scoring places for St. Scholastica. All but Salo were part of the 2005 squad the brought home the team title in 2005.

Saturday's field consisted of 116 runners, and the winning time of Carroll College's Erin Kelley was 18:19.
