How to make an appointment: Call 723-6085 to schedule an appointment
What to expect during your first counseling appointment:
If you are using counseling services for the first time, please arrive for your appointment 10 minutes early in order to complete some paperwork.
During your first meeting with a counselor, you will have a chance to talk about the concerns bringing you in for counseling. Your counselor may ask for some background information as well, to better help understand your concerns. You and your counselor will talk about what you are hoping to gain from counseling and decide together the best course of action.
If you need to cancel an appointment:
Counseling works best when you make a commitment to the process, so we ask that you keep all your scheduled appointments. If you are unable to keep an appointment due to illness or personal emergency, please call 723-6085 as soon as possible to let us know. Often, if we have enough notice we can fill your appointment with another student in need.
