What is ResNet?

ResNet, short for Residential Hall Networking, is a full-service computer network for students living on-campus. ResNet allows students to connect their personal computer to the college's network and the Internet. Our network is equipped with both wired and wireless broadband access in select areas.

Getting Connected

You will need a computer that has an Ethernet network card (NIC) and a patch cable. Plug one end of the cable to your network card and the other end to the network drop in your room. Additional minimum recommendations for ResNet computers can be found on the FAQ's page.

When accessing the Internet, Windows you may be prompted to update your computer before Internet access is given. View our documentation on Clean Access (PDF) for more information. If you run into any problems while trying to connect to the network, contact the Help Desk and our Technology Assistants will assist you.
