Where do you find out information on college policies? You will find them in the Student Handbook. It is important that you familiarize yourself with the content of the handbook and learn what it means to become a member of the College's community.
While all policies are important in themselves, there are some deserving of special attention. The College of St. Scholastica will not tolerate any form of harassment or workplace violence on its campuses or at any College-sponsored activity, by or against any student, faculty member, staff member, contracted service provider or visitor.
Persons who think they have been harassed or threatened, or have knowledge of harassment or threatening behavior, are encouraged to contact the Student Affairs Office to discuss the situation.
Also, The College of St. Scholastica does not condone the illegal use, possession, sale, manufacture, or distribution of drugs or actions involving drugs, including the possession of drug paraphernalia. This includes drugs which may involve medical or psychological hazards to individuals, or actions involving drugs which may lead to interference with the rights and privileges of others.
The Student Handbook details the expectations that we have for all our St. Scholastica communitty members, ensuring as best as we can, that all rights are protected and responsibilities are accepted in this shared environment of learning. As a member of the community, it will be your responsibility to be familiar with the policies and procedures outlined in the Student Handbook.
