 Ruby's Pantry

Are you having a hard time finding money to pay for groceries? Attend Ruby's Pantry at First United Methodist Church on the 3rd Thursday of the month to get over $100 worth of groceries for $20! Ruby's is a pop-up pantry in the basement of the church. How does it work? You go in the main doors, pay your fee and get a number. When your number is called, you can go down and fill your baskets, boxes, coolers or carts with the groceries. Get a friend and split the fee! This is a great resource for students who want to get quality groceries on a budget. Visit this website for more information.

Storm's Cupboard Donations
We encourage you to support Storm's Cupboard as you are able because your donations allow us to keep the shelves well stocked. We are able to accept monetary donations and non-perishable food items.
Monetary Donations: Cash and checks (payable to CSS) can be brought to Campus Ministry or College Advancement. Online donations can be made at: https://www3.css.edu/cm/
Food Donations: Anytime you are making food donations, please keep in mind that students are in need of individual serving size or regular sized items. Please refrain from donating extra-large size items, expired items, opened packages, or food that can spoil. Our financial support is from Faculty, Staff and Monastery donations and Student Senate funds. Thank you to all those who make this possible!
If you are interested in getting regular updates on food items that are most needed, consider participating in the effort that Becky Brenna coordinates. She hosts a food collection drive every other week throughout the academic year and you can be part of the fun! Simply join the Facebook group: CSS Food Shelf/Student in Need Fun Drive to get involved. Thank you for your support of Storm's Cupboard!

If you have any questions about any of these resources please contact Jessica Ellingson at jellingson@css.edu or call Lori Barnstorf at 723-5933.
