CSS Catholic has several actives which strive to serve students and grow as a Catholic community.  We have College Mass which is a great way for our community to grow in faith together. We also have events throughout the year such as coffeehouses, retreats, opportunities for Reconciliation.  Of course we can't forget to mention our small groups, where students have fun getting to know a small group of students. All are welcome to our events, and you can check out our Facebook for more information, or stop in Campus Ministry T20! Hope to see you soon!

Their focus is to:
-Build and foster intentional community among Catholic students
-Inspire and cultivate personal growth
-Organize meaningful Catholic Masses, Adoration and opportunities for Reconciliation
-Provide opportunities for students to learn about the Catholic Church (i.e. history, rituals, teachings) through speakers, retreats and small groups (like Bible studies)
-Involve students directly in experiencing the Mass by being trained as liturgical ministers (greeters, lectors, musicians & Eucharistic ministers)

College Liturgies

All are welcome to celebrate Mass with us during the academic year. Our Sunday Mass is celebrated at 6:30 pm in the Our Lady Queen of Peace Chapel whenever classes are in session the following Monday. The Sunday Masses offer many opportunities for students to get involved in a liturgical ministry.  We also offer a Tuesday night Mass at 5:30 p.m. in The Oratory  (Somers 190E) whenever classes are in session. We hope you choose to pray with us throughout the year!

Students are invited and encouraged to participate in all aspects of our liturgies. While all people are welcome to join us in celebrating the Mass, students are especially encouraged to consider serving in the liturgical ministries. We need people to serve as Eucharistic Ministers, lectors, greeters, choir members, cantors, and musicians. We encourage students to step forward and be vital members of our community!
