Response Protocol

The College of St. Scholastica has a strict no tolerance policy for sexual violence. If a student reaches out to you, please refer them to a member of the Gender Equity and Anti-Violence Allies (GEVA) Team. 

Staff and Faculty are required to report any incidents of sexual and gender based violence. For questions on reporting process, please contact a member of the Gender Equity and Anti-Violence Allies (GEVA) Team.

Incorporation of VIP Into Department or Course

The Violence Intervention and Prevention (VIP) Program provides trainings, education, workshops, events, and presentations to educate and raise awareness about sexual and gender based violence and gender equity. Please contact the VIP office for guest presentation or collaboration related to sexual and gender based violence. 

VIP office staff regularly partner with other staff and faculty to provide programs in and outside of classroom settings. The VIP Office can assist students with research projects and assignments related to sexual and gender based violence and gender equity.

The VIP office strives to connect students with different internship, work, and volunteer opportunities related to gender equity in the community.

VIP staff also provides trainings to staff and faculty on prevention and intervention of sexual and gender based violence.
