Student Health Fee

In order to be eligible for services in the Student Health Service office, all full time undergraduate students and graduate students in the Athletic Training, Exercise Physiology, Post Baccalaureate Nursing, Physical Therapy, and Occupational Therapy programs pay a Student Health Fee each semester.   The Student Health Fee (currently $122 per Fall and Spring semesters and $50 for Summer semester) is a distinct fee and is not a part of the CSS Student Health Insurance premium.  Students do not have to be enrolled in the CSS Student Health Insurance to utilize services in Student Service.

How is the Student Health fee charged?

Student Health fees are placed on student accounts automatically for full-time undergraduate students and for certain graduate students (Athletic Training, Exercise Physiology, Post Baccalaureate Nursing, Physical Therapy, and Occupational Therapy students). The Student Health fee is also optionally charged to all other students who choose to receive health care in the Student Health Service office.

Charges not covered by the Student Health fee:

The items that are not covered by the student health fee (specifically visits with the nurse practitioner, lab tests, and immunizations) are charged to the student's personal/student health insurance. Any charges that are not covered by the student's personal/student health insurance will be placed on the student's account.
