All graduates who want their name to appear in the printed spring 2018 commencement program must complete an Application to Graduate by Friday, April 6. Exceptions to this deadline will not be made.

Do you have photos to share? Your commencement ceremony will include a slide show of your life at CSS! The photos will be broadcast over the Jumbotron at the Amsoil Arena. Photos must be jpeg, horizontal, & good resolution. Send your photos to firstname.lastname@example.org by April 6.

Join us for our traditional Graduation Brunch on May 12, 10:30 a.m. - noon, Greenview Dining Room, located in Somers Hall, Duluth campus. Deadline for online brunch orders and RSVP's is May 8. Graduates and children 5 & under eat at no cost; otherwise, brunch is $14/person. All other orders will be accepted at the door the day of brunch on May 12. Masters graduates will receive a hood at check-in and doctoral graduates will be hooded on stage. Hoods are provided by Student Affairs free of charge.
The ceremony will last approximately two & a half hours.
The DECC Amsoil Arena has plenty of seating, no tickets required. Doors open at noon.
If you would like to send your guests an announcement or an invitation, you may purchase your own online through the Saints Shop to do so. If your guest needs a letter for a VISA to travel into the country, contact the Office of International Programs, email@example.com; (218) 625-4490.

A professional photographer from Lifetouch Photography will take two photographs: a portrait of you before you cross the stage and a photograph of you receiving your diploma cover from President Geary. You will receive an email message with a proof from the photographer with an option to buy copies within two weeks after graduation. These photos are available online to view without obligation and may be purchased directly from the photographer.
All Graduates and guests are invited to the Graduation Reception immediately following the ceremony, located at the DECC, Lake Superior Ballroom. The reception is free to all graduates and guests, compliments of the Alumni Association. Refreshments will be served. Undergraduates: A student whose cumulative grade point average is 3.75 or above graduates with highest honors (summa cum laude). A student whose cumulative grade point average is between 3.50 and 3.75 graduates with honors (cum laude). A minimum of 48 St. Scholastica credits are required to graduate with highest honors or honors; all 48 must be graded credits. With the exception of credits, by program policy, are graded on a pass/fail basis, so long as at least 32 credits are graded. A Dean's list of full-time students achieving a 3.75 grade point average is published each semester.
Graduates: Latin Honors are not awarded to students in Masters and Doctoral level programs.
