The Federal Direct Graduate PLUS Loan is available to graduate/professional students. This loan is similar to the Parent PLUS loan for undergraduate students, except it is available to the graduate student, not their parents and can be consolidated with other federal loans at repayment. A credit check will be performed on this loan. There is a loan origination fee associated with this loan; you may increase your Graduate PLUS loan amount by approximately $300 to offset the fees.
