Veterans Resource Center and Community

No matter who you are, there's a place for you at St. Scholastica. And for veterans, we mean that literally. The Veteran's Resource Center (VRC) is a physical space on campus specifically for veterans — serving as the base of operations for an ever-supportive and welcoming community that guides you through the ups and downs of college life.

But no matter where you are, our Veterans Resources Coordinator will advocate for you — using all of our available resources to ensure you have a positive experience.

Academic Accommodations

You learned a lot from your time in the military, now it's time you get credit for it. Our academic advisers will work with you to get every possible credit out of your military training and transcript and craft an academic plan that's unique to you — whether that's graduate or undergraduate, online or on-campus, or somewhere in between.

Our Center for Equal Access will help you stick to this plan, no matter what disabilities or medical conditions you may have. And our leave policy will let you take time for deployments and pick up right where you left off.

Your Steps to Success

At CSS, we have graduate and undergraduate, online and on-campus programs for every interest. View a full list of our academic programs.

And even if you don't see what you're looking for here, you have the flexibility to design your own major to fit your unique interests and goals.

To receive your VA education benefits, you will need to complete these five steps:

  1. Contact the Veterans Resource Center for personalized assistance.
  2. Apply for your benefits. Apply online (for the VA education benefits) and/or with your education commander (for those currently serving), vocational rehabilitation counselor, and/or MN VA for the MN GI Bill.
  3. After you complete step 2, submit paperwork associated with your benefit and/or notify us of your benefit eligibility via email to our Certifying Official, George Beattie. For most benefits, this will be the Certificate of Eligibility, which is the document received from the completion of your benefit application.
  4. Complete the Free Application for Student Aid (FAFSA). Our school code is 002343. Your Federal Shopping Sheet will be available after completion of the FAFSA and financial aid award process, and personalized degree plans are available through our advising offices. Both are available before enrollment in courses.
  5. Complete the Admitted Military Student Information form.

Take the next step toward your future. Apply.

Admissions counselors are here to help you navigate the application process and clear the path to your future career.
