Where is the CSS Online Bookstore?

Visit it online at css.textbookx.com or access via your OneStop page in Cor.

How it works

When you log in to the bookstore with your CSS username and password, you will see a personalized page of the courses you registered for plus the course materials that have been assigned to them. You can then select from among the new, used, rental, and eBook options available. You can also select from Marketplace options, which are sold by students around the country and other third-party sellers at heavily discounted prices.

Bookstore dollars

Students may purchase books from the vendor of their choice and are not required to use the css.textbookx.com. However, students wishing to use financial aid money toward the cost of books must purchase them through the official St. Scholastica virtual bookstore using Bookstore Dollars. (Note: Students must have enough financial aid funding available to cover the cost of books).

The College of St. Scholastica will make available virtual bookstore dollars to a textbookx.com bookstore account as an option for purchasing your textbooks. Should you choose to use the bookstore dollars, the amount used will be charged to your CSS student account upon checkout.

Bookstore Dollars allow students to charge up to $600 to their St. Scholastica student account for textbook purchases. A $600 credit limit is added to students' ecampus account each semester. If you choose to use these virtual bookstore dollars, the amount used will be charged to your St. Scholastica student account upon checkout. Students are not required to use bookstore dollars. To pay by another means such as credit card or debit card, simply click the undo button at checkout and select another payment option.

Questions or concerns about the virtual bookstore may be directed to Heather Ashbaugh, textbook coordinator, 218-723-6030, hashbaugh@css.edu.

Questions about using Bookstore Dollars may be directed to the St. Scholastica OneStop Office at (877) 287-8716 or OneStop@css.edu.
