The College of St. Scholastica introduced Greg Carlson, its first football coach, on Monday.

Carlson leads the first football program in St. Scholastica's 95-year history. The Saints will compete in NCAA Division III and will field a team in the fall of 2008.

“I’m anxious to begin,” Carlson said at a press conference. “I know what has to be done, and I’m comfortable with the timetable set for what we want to get accomplished in a year’s time.”
