| Campus Interviewing |
Companies will periodically come on campus to interview prospective candidates. These events are advertised in the appropriate departments, through email and on the Career Services web site. When interested in a specific company, students must be registered on the Career Services website. Follow the easy-to-use instructions on the On-Campus Interviewing web page. |
| Career Connections - Meet the Alumni Reception |
A reception between CSS alumni and current students is held each year in a social environment so that students can connect with alumni from their majors or in businesses with which they're interested. Alumni can give advice on resumes, transitioning to the workforce, their involvement in college and what worked for them and what didn't. Alumni can also be great contacts if a student is interested in working for the organization for which the alum works. The event is free but registration is required. |
| Job Fairs |
The College of St. Scholastica co-sponsors four job fairs, one career fair and one post-graduate volunteer fair each year:
|
| Pathways to Careers (Arts, Communication and the Sciences) |
Each year, the MN Private Colleges Career Consortium sponsors an event designed to provide information on careers in specific areas such as the Arts, Communication and Sciences. Alumni from the private colleges who have graduated or are working in these fields present valuable information on careers in occupations. You can listen to their presentations ask questions and network with the alumni. |

| Mock Interviews |
Videotaped mock interviews are available for students at any time during the year. A mock interview is an excellent way to learn and practice interviewing skills. No preparation is necessary although several books and tapes are available in Career Services that may be helpful prior to interviewing. An appointment can be arranged by calling or visiting Career Services. |
