Reunion 2020

June 26, 2020

Dear Saints Community,

Happy Reunion Weekend! Although we cannot come together to celebrate this joyful gathering in-person, our Benedictine Heritage calls on us to be innovative, resilient, and hopeful. In that spirit, we hope that you still find time to connect with your fellow Saints and value the traditions you created during your time at The College of St. Scholastica...virtually!

  • Please consider leaving a note for the Class of 1970 on our custom Kudoboard. These greetings and well wishes will be printed and shared during our joint celebration June 25-27, 2021.
    • Message board for the Class of 1970
  • Share your favorite pictures from St. Scholastica to your Facebook and Instagram accounts using the hashtag #CSSVirtualReunion. We'll round them up and share to our own social media pages next week.
  • Watch a commemorative Reunion video, created by our archivist Heidi Johnson (MS ‘08) with photos from our Reunion-celebrating classes.
  • Find college updates from President Barbara McDonald, information about virtual programming, St. Scholastica Zoom backgrounds, coloring sheets and more at our Connect Virtual landing page.

These unprecedented times have made us more appreciative than ever of our connection to each other and to the College. We wish you well, and look forward to celebrating with you in-person during Reunion Weekend 2021, June 25-27.

Vivat St. Scholastica!

Dear Saints Community,

Greetings from my home office in Duluth, Minnesota! I hope you are staying healthy and safe as we navigate these uncertain times.

After much deliberation, the status of Reunion 2020 has moved from postponement to cancellation. All reunion class years who would have been celebrated this year, including the Class of 1970, will be celebrated at Reunion 2021, June 25-27. Please save the dates!

The College has decided that at Reunion 2021 we will celebrate two 50-year Reunions; it is important that both the Class of 1970 and Class of 1971 know how special this Reunion is for them.

Thank you for your commitment to St. Scholastica and for your patience and understanding as we move forward through these extraordinary circumstances together.

Please continue to check our website: for future updates about Reunion and other alumni events.

Vivat St. Scholastica!

Dear Saints Community,

It is with regret that I announce the postponement of our All-Saints Reunion Weekend, originally scheduled for June 26-28, 2020.

The situation surrounding the COVID-19 outbreak is dynamic, and while we cannot know with certainty what will happen in the months to come, I feel the College must make a timely, transparent decision out of respect for our community. Ultimately, the safety and well-being of our Saints, on and off campus, is of the utmost importance.

Please be assured that our celebration has not been canceled. Rather, we are working diligently to transition many of the weekend's events to later dates. I will be back in touch with you about this.

Thank you for your patience and support as we navigate the postponement of our beloved Reunion Weekend celebration. I welcome your feedback as we explore new ways to stay connected with one another and the College.

Stay well and Vivat St. Scholastica!

Reunion 2019, June 28-30

It was a beautiful, sunshine-filled weekend in Duluth as we welcomed back alumni and friends to honor their heritage. Special gratitude for those members of the Class of 1969 who were able to join us for the festivities. We honor you and extend a warm, Benedictine induction in to our Saints Heritage Club!

Reunion 2018: June 22-24

We thank each and every Saint who celebrated with us during Joyous Memories: Old and New! Friday night's Soirée featured wine, hors d'oeuvres, entertainment from Maxi Childs Trio, and more than 140 unique items in our Silent Auction. Together we raised over $13,000 to benefit our Alumni Association Scholarship Fund. Fun and philanthropic! Saturday's festivities included several joyful opportunities to reconnect with classmates and Sisters, including a service project, Tower Hall painting event, historical walking tour and more. Brand new this year, we combined events during Saturday's all-alumni luncheon to honor members of the Saints Heritage Club, induct new members to the Sister Agnes Somers Society, and present awards to four incredible alumni who are making an impact in their classrooms and communities, here and abroad. This revised schedule allowed our attendees the flexibility to find joy in choosing their own path Saturday evening. The weekend's events concluded with Mass and brunch with the Sisters on Sunday morning. Joyous memories abound!

Reunion 2017:  June 23-25

Thanks to everyone who participated in our 2017 Reunion Weekend Sharing Saints' Stories! The weekend's festivities represented a time to gather, reminisce, and celebrate what makes The College of St. Scholastica a truly transformative and special place. You and your stories are always welcome on our campus. Saints for Life!
