Staff FAQs Sept. 10, 2009 H1N1

Dear staff colleagues:

As you are aware, the H1N1 virus is at our doorstep. Although we don't know how widespread the illness could become or what groups could be hit the hardest, the College is prepared in case staff become sick.

Attached is a list of frequently asked questions and their answers. They address some of the situations that could arise. This list will be posted on the College's emergency Web site, emergency.css.edu, and will be updated as need be.

Your supervisor and Human Resources are available to answer any other questions you may have. In the meantime, continue to keep yourself informed about H1N1, practice good health habits, and, if you develop flu symptoms, avoid other people until 24 hours after your fever is gone.

Thank you for remaining alert and helpful to your co-workers and our students as we move through the semester.
