SaintsRiseUp Safe Return | Campus Updates

Technology Requirements

A portion of your coursework may include an online component. In order to be successful in this type of academic environment, students should be self-directed learners and comfortable using a computer. Feel free to take the Distance Learning Assessment to see if online learning would be a good fit for you.

Technology Skills

If you want to brush up on certain skills, as a student of The College of St. Scholastica you can view tutorials on Microsoft Office products, Internet browsers, and more on the Hoonuit website.

Brightspace

CSS transitioned to Brightspace for our online learning management system in Fall 2019 semester, and all courses will be in Brightspace in Spring 2020. All students are automatically enrolled in the Brightspace for Students course to learn about using Brightspace for their academic success.

Google

Google apps offer students a variety of ways to communicate and collaborate with peers. Popular apps include Gmail, Calendar, Drive (storage), Docs, Slides, YouTube and more.

Zoom

All students have a Zoom account for web conferencing and live class sessions. Learn more about using Zoom to connect with your peers.
