Here at ATOL, we want to offer you a variety of useful ways to learn how to integrate technology and pedagogy. With our strong focus on pedagogy and expertise on technology, we're able to help you turn your subject expertise into the best possible form for your students, whether they're on campus, blended, or entirely online. ATOL offers large group trainings, self-guided instructions, instructional video, individual consultations, and more.
Every May and August, we offer an Academic Technology Institute. Check out the latest ATI website here for Zoom recordings of sessions, slide decks, and more resources.
2018 Session Dates will be posted soon! Stay tuned!
The Teaching @ CSS course has a new schedule. Enrollment is open for Levels 1, 2 and 3 of the course series. Level 1 begins January 3, 2018. This fully online course series is offered several times per year, aligned with the semester start dates. Courses are two weeks each.
This series helps new and experienced faculty develop the knowledge and skills to teach at CSS using available technology tools including Blackboard, Zoom, Google Drive, Voicethread and YouTube. Faculty and staff will complete most of the activities in cohort with their peers.
All faculty and staff who use Blackboard with other educational technologies are welcome to participate. We recommend new faculty or faculty new to Blackboard register for all three levels. See this series overview for more information. Questions can be directed to Academic Technologies and Online Learning.
More course levels will be announced in the Spring.
