Melissa Goodson, Director of the Sandbulte Center for Ethical Leadership

Melissa Goodson, Assistant Professor of Marketing and Management in St. Scholastica's Stender School of Business and Technology was appointed Director of the College's Sandbulte Center for Ethical Leadership in January 2021. The center has a strong foundation of ethics work thanks to Kathy Modin, past Management Department Chair, and professor Rick Revoir.

The Sandbulte Center for Ethical Leadership helps strengthen the College's focus on teaching ethics to incorporate sound critical thinking in the lives of our students. In addition to bringing alumni and other professionals to campus to discuss ethical issues, Melissa works closely with faculty members to support ethics education on campus. She's passionate about helping students practice skills related to leadership and ethical decision-making inside and outside of the classroom through experiential learning.

Melissa has taught in the Stender School of Business and Technology since 2015. Her favorite classes to teach include Digital Marketing and Management Ethics. Years of experience as an executive member of the National Institute for Social Media's Advisory Board has fueled her interest of examining ethical practices in Marketing and Business.
