MBA in Leadership and Change

Students in an MBA classroom setting

The MBA in Leadership and Change is designed for working professionals and offered in a convenient blended format with evening classes taught at our Duluth and St. Paul campuses. The program offers a broad base of business knowledge while weaving in vital strands of organizational behavior and socio-economic theory. This program prepares innovative, adaptable professionals across a variety of industries.

Program outcomes

Upon completion of the MBA program, students should be able to:

  • Exercise critical thinking and high level reasoning through effective oral and written communication skills.
  •  Identify competing values, behaviors, and assumptions that are relevant to the effective implementation of proposed change initiatives.
  • Analyze, design, and deliver effective change-based interventions and strategies in an ever-changing global environment.
  • Describe and explain to the client system the cultural context that affects a proposed change initiative.

Format and Locations

The 36-credit program is offered in an accelerated 8-week format, allowing students to complete their degree in as few as 12 months (full-time) or two years (part-time). Locations include Duluth and St. Paul.

The nature of graduate studies is such that a significant amount of out-of-class assignments, research and team work will complement class instruction.
