Concert Band

Concert Band

Concert Band is made up of wind, brass, and percussion players of varying levels of musical skill and experience from all majors at CSS. Concert Band rehearses on Mondays and Wednesdays from 3:30-5:00 pm in Mitchell Auditorium. The ensemble performs twice per semester: in the fall at the Music Department Prism Concert and the CSS Fall Band Concert, and in the spring at the CSS High School Honor Band Festival and the CSS Spring Band Concert.

To participate in Concert Band, register for MUS3212 for either 0 or 1 credit. Once you have registered, you will meet with Dr. Michael Buck for an informal and friendly audition, in which you will play a solo or etude and do sight reading.
