The College will conduct its fall 2013 commencement at noon Saturday in the Reif Gymnasium. The combined baccalaureate, master's and doctoral ceremony will have 450 candidates for graduation. A total of 308 bachelor's degrees, 110 master's degrees and certificates, and 32 doctoral degrees will be awarded.
The Duluth Scottish Heritage Pipers will lead the graduates in the processional and recessional. To open the ceremony, members of the American Indian Drum Group will perform an Honor Song and William Bastian and the St. Scholastica String Orchestra will perform "America the Beautiful."
Mary Ives, chair of the Board of Trustees, will give the commencement address. Michael Henry of the Class of 2013 will give the student address.
Immediately after the ceremony, the St. Scholastica Alumni Association will host a reception for the graduates and their guests in Storm's Den in Tower Hall.
