Payment in full is due two weeks prior to the first day of classes for fall and spring semester. Students unable to pay on time may elect to enroll in the College's automatic payment plan that allows payments to be made throughout the semester/year. The first payment is due on July 5 and is automatically withdrawn from the student's checking or savings account or charged to a credit card. Enrollment in the plan can take place after July 5, but all previously due amounts must be paid up-front. Applications are to be processed online or completed in paper form. A $45 fee is required. Registration for subsequent semesters is not allowed if a student has a balance owing over $500. Students on payment plans may register regardless of their balance owing if they have not defaulted on payments previously due. Official transcripts will be withheld due to an outstanding account balance greater than $25.00 whether the student is on a payment plan or not. Grades may be withheld as well due to outstanding account balances. Special circumstances may be reviewed on a case by case basis. Students who have not completed exit packets are denied official transcripts and registration. Students with past due balances are subject to the College's collection process; students failing to pay past-due accounts or make adequate payment arrangements are assigned to collection agencies for settlement. The debt is reported to the credit bureaus by the collection agencies. Collection agency fees and interest will be passed on to the student. The collection process is not applied to those students who are making regular payments on their account in a timely manner. Before the collection process begins on a past-due account, account balances are verified to see that charges and credits to the account are finalized and also that verification of attendance is confirmed.
