The Center for Healthcare Innovation is a consolidation and formalization of these initiatives, along with a vision for many other projects and offerings. Its mission is to extend our current leadership in the positive transformation of the nation's healthcare through education, community partnerships, policy formulation, and applied research.

The goal of The Center is to be a revenue-generating organization which identifies trends within both health sciences education and the healthcare industry and uses our expertise and innovative approaches to help address these trends. The Center will provide:

1. Formal and continuing education in healthcare technology, practices, management and leadership;
2. Consulting services to healthcare organizations and communities, especially rural markets, including face-to-face consulting, mini-conferences in policy, practices and technology, structured programs and as-needed follow-up conferences and retreats;
3. Applied research to develop products and services in healthcare technology, practices, management and leadership; and
4. Policy research, analysis and formulation in health care technology, practices, management and leadership.
