Service Expectations

Subscribing colleges should expect the following from the ATHENS Educational Subscription Service:
- 24x7 access to ATHENS system and St. Scholastica created forms, etc.
- Ability to create and use college-specific documentation and procedures for working with the ATHENS system
- Telephone support for system related problems and user access
- Implementation advise and/or documentation and guidance for:
- ATHENS usage (basic package)
- Pedagogical / curriculum integration (extended offering)
- Specialized forms or templates (extended offering)
- Case development (extended offering)
- Environment set up:
- Timely set up of new users
- Authorization to use and personalize the user documentation
The College of St. Scholastica expects our subscribing colleges to provide the following:
- A faculty lead to
- Provide direct communication with The College of St. Scholastica project team
- Organize the structure necessary to implement ATHENS at their college
- Drive/lead the implementation plan for their college
- A faculty member for each program within the subscribing college
- This requirement may change based on the size of each program
- Available IT resources with the following skills:
- Willingness and ability to make an annual commitment to the project
- Commitment to meeting, or exceeding, the minimum technical requirements:
- High speed internet connection for all participating faculty and students
- Minimum PC prerequisites
- Willingness and ability to adhere to a communication process for keeping us current on number of users as well as outstanding issues
