Rural Nursing Scholarships | M.S. Nursing
Advanced Nursing Education Expansion (ANEE) Awards
Rural ANEE Fellows Program, 2010-2015
The Rural ANEE Fellows Program will provide stipends to Adult Nurse Practitioner/Gerontological Nurse Practitioner students (ANP/GNP) and Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) students who agree to attend CSS and complete their education on a full-time basis. Students who attend on a full-time basis may not work full-time.
The yearly award is $22,000 per student, to be used for tuition, textbooks, living expenses, and travel costs associated with their graduate nursing education. Stipends will be paid out on a monthly basis (approximately $1,833.33 per month). Students selected to receive the award must remain in good standing in the program in order to receive the monthly stipend.
Please note: This is considered TAXABLE INCOME and factors into a student’s eligibility for student loans/financial aid.
- 4 new ANP/GNP and 4 new FNP students will be selected to receive the stipend the first year; if students remain in good standing, they will continue to receive their award monthly until graduation (May of their second year).
- 4 new ANP/GNP students and 4 new FNP students will be selected to receive an award for 2011-12; if students remain in good standing, they will continue to receive their award monthly, until graduation (May of their second year).
