Housing and Residential Life The office of Housing and Residential life is responsible for students placement in on campus housing. This is not the decision of the International Student Advisor. In order to assist the housing office in placing students appropriately with other students, please ensure that students complete the Housing Contract 2008/09. Please complete this if you have not already sent one to the Admission department. If students do not complete this contract, then you may not get the housing arrangement that best fits student's needs. If students have any questions about housing, have not received student's roommates information please contact Residential Life/Housing Office
Information about who your room-mates will be and where students will be staying on campus will be mailed out to students as soon as it is available. This information will come from the Housing Office by letter directly to student's home address. As a new student to the college students will have a lot of questions about the housing, the facilities and what to bring with students. For all of this information, visit the Residential Life Website. The most useful places to new students is under 'Frequently asked questions or FAQ's.
Food Service Food is the fuel of life! The College Food Service department works really hard to accommodate all students and their dietary needs. The College is able to serve student's needs for vegetarian meals, religious dietary requirements and ethnic food. Information regarding Food Services on campus. Meal plans are the options for how many meals you select to pay for each semester. Students assigned to live in Somers Residence and freshmen (first year) students are required to be on a meal plan. Students who live in the apartments have kitchens to cook but are welcome to sign up for a meal plan. Once you have chosen a meal plan you are required to complete a "Meal Plan Contract" by the second week of each semester. It is vital that students select a meal plan by the second week of the semester in order to have this reflected on the statement or bill of charges. Once you have selected the meal plan of your choice, please e-mail Jean Anderson, Director of Food Service.
