Although, the Intercultural Center is a work in progress, "the Intercultural Center strives to promote cultural understanding and inclusiveness by recognizing "the human dignity of each individual" in the St. Scholastica community in the context of its surrounding communities and the world. Challenging women and men to grow through programming and support services, the Intercultural Center will encourage the campus community to contribute to a diverse and changing society."
Thus, it is essentially a starting place of "interaction among people who have acquired values, beliefs, and rules from a different societal group or culture that involves the sharing of ones particular culture, which develops or improves the training and educational minds or perceptions of others." This interaction essentially helps us all to learn to touch the world.
