The American Sign Language (ASL) class led by Instructor Monica Butche and the Diversity & Multicultural Services offices are sponsoring a . The students from the ASL class will be showing exclusive hands on and interactive exhibits, in hopes to create an awareness of Deaf people and their culture.
During the celebration, there will be artwork displayed by Leah Bender (Deaf Artist) and two speakers, speaking on topics surrounding Deaf people and their culture.
The schedule of the Celebration is as follows: Speaker I: Noon-1:00pm
Speaker II: 1:00-2:00pm
Interactive Activities/Exhibits: 2:00-5:00pm
