The College of St. Scholastica started the "Green" Bike Program on its Duluth Campus to lessen on-campus traffic and to minimize our carbon footprint. Currently, there are eight bikes designated for this program. One bike has been painted completely green to symbolize why we started the program - the other seven are silver and green. The bikes are for all students, faculty and staff to use to travel from various campus locations. We ask everyone to please take care of the bikes and keep them available for everyone to use and keep them on campus!
Please let us know if you have comments or suggestions on how to improve this program. In the mean time, if you see a sliver bike with green on it.. - Feel free to ride it
- Follow campus roadways
- Keep the bike on campus
- Ride at your own risk
- Wear a helmet
- Return it to a bike rack
- Call for repairs (218) 723-6106
- Do NOT ride a broken bike
- Do NOT keep the bikes
- Do NOT ride beyond your ability
- Do NOT ride at night
- Do NOT lock the bike for private use
- Do NOT forget to ENJOY the ride!
