Mitchell Auditorium

Built in 1993, the Mitchell Auditorium features a sound and lighting system designed for musical events and conference lectures. Special accommodations are available for handicapped and hearing impaired
individuals. The foyer is a beautiful location for conference breaks and memorable receptions.

The Science Auditorium features theater-style tiered seating with attached side-board desks. This site is
perfect for academic lectures and can accommodate many audio/visual requirements.

Somers Hall

Somers Hall contains Somers Lounge, one Somers Lounge Side Room, Penthouse (summer months only), Executive Dining Room, Private Dining Room and Greenview Dining Room. Somers Hall also offers guest rooms year-round as well as residential rooms, suites and apartments during the summer months. All housing is available on a first-reserve, first-serve basis. Guest Room
Two douboe guest rooms are available on a first-reserve, first-serve basis. Located near Somers Front Desk,
these rooms feature private bathroom facilities, desk, dresser, closet, television and telephone. Linens
and towels are also provided.

Summer Housing
The College of St. Scholastica has a limited amount of on-campus housing available for your program
participants during the summer months only. Somers Hall features traditional residential style rooms.
The suites feature two (2) bedrooms with private a bath. Modern, two (2) bedroom apartments are also available on campus.

Somers Lounge
This beautiful lounge overlooking the campus is ideal for large group meetings. Its unique features include floor-to-ceiling windows and a brick fireplace. From seminars to board meetings, Somers Lounge is flexible to meet your specific event needs.

Penthouse
Perched on top of Somers Hall, the Penthouse offers a stunning view of Lake Superior through its floor-to-
ceiling windows. The Penthouse provides an intimate setting that can accommodate a wide variety of needs and is carpeted. The Penthouse is available during summer months only.

Greenview Dining Room (GDR)
Located on the lower level of Somers Hall, this is the main dining area for students and for large groups.

Reif Recreational Center
The Reif Recreational Center can accommodate up to 1,500 in bleacher and floor seating. It also offers
recreation facilities for conference participants. There is a regulation-sized racquetball court, gym, weight
room and two saunas in the Center. Outdoor recreational activities include: tennis, cross-country skiing and hiking on The College of St. Scholastica's picturesque campus. Equipment is available through the Reif Recreational Center and the Port Information Desk (located on the ground floor of Tower Hall).

Campus Classrooms
Tower Hall and the Science Center contain a wide variety of classrooms and meeting spaces. The standard classrooms are ideal for break-out sessions or smaller workshops. The conference rooms are well suited for small groups and impromptu meetings. In addition to standard classrooms, Tower Hall and the Science Center contain interactive television classrooms and Power Macintosh and PC computer labs to meet your technology needs. Availability of classrooms is limited during the academic year; availability of computer labs is limited year-round.
