Learn Post College Volunteering Soup and Discussion Wednesday February 20 5:30 p.m. Mitchelle Kichenette. Come enjoy free soup and learn about an alternative to the normal path of going out into the working world after graduation. Parables: Stories of the Kingdom Bible Study Join this Six-week F.O.C.U.S. Group (Faith On Campus Uniting Students) sponsored by Peer Ministry that explores the parables of Jesus. Fast Thousand Wells Project - Join V.I.T.A. (Volunteers Involved Through Action) and drink only water for a week. Give Operation Rice Bowl - This Lent involve yourself in an international Christian community. Pick up a Lenten Rice Bowl and a Hunger calendar all week in the Student union or at Ash Wednesday or Sunday College Mass and save up your loose change to donate to those in need (75% International, 25% Local). Volunteer on Community Day February 27 - There are three great options below. Contact Jay Newcomb if you are interested! Option 1: 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Home deliveries of meals. Sign up for a 2 hour shift to help deliver meals. You do not need to have CSS driver's certification to help.
Option 2: 7:00 to 4:00. St. Scholastica Day at the Capitol. We will meet with legislators to lobby on behalf of the Minnesota State Grant program. FREE Perkins breakfast; lunch and transportation will also be provided. Sign up for the bus here and we will send you a link with further sign-up instructions.
Option 3: various hours. Community Day Volunteer work
