Academics
The days of just learning from textbooks and taking tests have given way to more individual and interactive methods that match the active lifestyles of today's students.
At St. Scholastica, you'll excel with opportunities for independent study - one-on-one with professors, participating in and leading research studies, studying abroad, as well as gaining real-world experience through internships at some of the nation's top companies, hospitals and universities.
One example of this hands-on philosophy: our recently introduced Pre-Law and Pre-Health Advisory Boards. The Boards provide Pre-Law and Pre-Health students access to a dozen or more professionals in their chosen field for practical mentoring, shadowing and networking opportunities.
If you're serious about learning and want to become a responsible member of a thriving campus community, then St. Scholastica is the college for you.
Smaller classes and attentive faculty help create an academic atmosphere in which you'll be challenged, encouraged and inspired to do your best.
"I started my college career at a mid-size state college. My classes averaged around 60 students. I transferred to St. Scholastica because I was looking for smaller class sizes with more personal attention from my professors. If you are looking for small class sizes, choose your college wisely."
