Following Acceptance

Congratulations . . . you have be readmissed to The College of St. Scholastica! So, what's next? Before you begin taking courses at the College, there are a few steps to complete. We try to coordinate as best we can with other departments, but don't be alarmed if you get a form in the mail requesting information you already have completed on-line. If there is anything that is missing from your enrollment file, Brenda, Rebecca, or Clarence will contact you.

Here are the steps you should review:

The $150 Housing Deposit reserves on-campus living accommodations for you. Payment can be made online at www2.css.edu/epayment/admissions/index.cfm or through the mail by check or credit card (please send payments to the Admissions Office).

• Complete the Housing Contract and Self Analysis Worksheet forms.
• If you do not plan to live on campus, complete the Commuter Request Form

2. Financial Aid (Federal):

Almost everyone qualifies for some type of financial aid. To find out whether or not you do, you will need to fill out a "Free Application for Financial Aid" (FAFSA).

• Complete the FAFSA (or Renewal Application) online at www.fafsa.ed.gov
• The St. Scholatica vendor code is 002343
• A PIN is required to complete the FAFSA online. To request a PIN, go to www.pin.ed.gov
• Changes in information for a processed FAFSA can be done online or by calling the Federal Processor at (800)-433-3243.
• More information is available through the Office of Financial Aid.

3. Financial Aid (State):

• Complete the CSS Financial Aid Application online at www2.css.edu/app/financialaid/

4. Acceptance/Scholarship Announcement Information Form (optional):

• Complete the form online at www2.css.edu/app/admissions/scholarship_Announcement.cfm

5. Immunization Law:

• Students who are born in 1957 or after and who are enrolled in more than one course are required by the State of Minnesota to provide the College with evidence of immunizations. The Immunization Requirements Form and Health History Form must be completed on line at www2.css.edu/app/depts/staffairs/medicalhistory/

6. Hospitalization Insurance:

• Hospitalization insurance is required of all full-time undergraduate students. The cost is automatically charged to undergraduate students with 12 or more credits unless a waiver form is filled out within the first two weeks of a semester. The waiver form can be completed online only after you have registered for classes. at www2.css.edu/app/depts/staffairs/medicalhistory/

Effective March 15, 2007, when you provide a check as payment, you authorize us either to use information from your check to make a one-time electronic fund transfer from your account or to process the payment as a check transaction. For inquiries please call the College of St. Scholastica Business Office at 1-800-447-5444 or 723-6092. When we use information from your check to make an electronic fund transfer, funds may be withdrawn from your account as soon as the same day you make your payment, and you will not receive your check back from your financial institution.
