Welcome! Welcome to the Orientation Department Web page. The Orientation Department offers many sessions for incoming students of all types: first-year, transfer and post-secondary option students. Orientation is an important step in the process of becoming a CSS student. During Orientation, students register for classes, meet future peers and faculty, become familiar with campus, have fun, and many other activities.
***The First Year Orientation Session on April 11-12 has been postponed due to the forecasted severe weather conditions. If you are registered to attend this session, the orientation department will be contacting you when we have further information about rescheduling this event.*** Learn more about: More about Orientation at The College of St. Scholastica
A unique feature of the CSS Orientation Program is the Peer Advising Program. The Peer Advisors/Orientation Leaders at the College of St. Scholastica are an elite group of 60+ students who are specially trained to help accommodate incoming first year students adjust to college life. They are responsible for acquainting new students with campus services, activities, building locations, and college life issues. Peer Advisors aid in the development of class schedules and assist with the registration process. Above all, the Peer Advisors are there to be a role model and provide a friendly face for all incoming students.
