Completion in 4 eight week terms
NSG 3125 - RNBS Online Orientation Course - 0 credits
(Must be completed 3 weeks prior to Term 1 starting)
Term I (8 weeks)
NSG 4590 - Introduction to RN/BS Nursing Portfolio (first 4 objectives) - 4 credits
NSG 3361 - Dimensions of Professional Nursing - 4 credits
Term II (8 weeks)
NSG 4580 - Holistic Assessment in Nursing - 4 credits
NSG 4591 - RN/BS Nursing Portfolio II (Objectives 5 through 9) - 5 PLA credits
PSY 2335 - Basic Statistics - 4 credits (if not previously taken)
Term III (8 weeks)
NSG 3355 - Research, Evidence-Based Practice and Information Technology in Nursing - 4 credits
NSG 4592 - RN/BS Nursing Portfolio III (Objectives 10 through 14) - 5 PLA Credits
TRS ____ - Upper Division Writing and Religious Studies course required for all students that do
not have a previous BA/BS Degree). Course will vary be term.
Term IV (8 weeks)
NSG 4570 - Community Health Nursing - 4 credits
NSG 4571 - Community Health Nursing Clinical - 1 credit (optional course for RN students wishing
public health certification in MN or CA).
NSG 4472 - Leadership in Nursing - 4 credits
NSG 4593 - RN/BS Nursing Portfolio IV (Objectives 15 through 20) - 6 PLA credits
