THE SCIENCES AT ST. SCHOLASTICA

The College of St. Scholastica offers a strong science curriculum including majors in chemistry, biology and biochemistry.  For many years, CSS has been a leader in preparing students for careers in the health professions and medical studies.  You can be sure that at CSS you will lay a solid science foundation for post-graduate education in such fields as nursing, physical therapy, occupational therapy, exercise physiology, doctoral studies and pre-med, all popular majors at the College.

Your academic advisor will work with you to insure that you are well prepared for any required standardized tests that you may need for post-graduate studies including the MCAT, or Medical College Admission Test, and the GRE, or Graduate Record Exam.

CSS has a faculty-student ratio of 1/13. You are insured personal attention throughout your bachelor’s degree studies with small class sizes in a competitive academic environment with rigorous programs of learning and a strong sense of community.  An Honors Program is available to high achievers.

CSS has been educating students since 1912 and is the fastest growing smaller college (2500) in the State of Minnesota.  We consistently place in the top five percent in independent regional rankings both academically and in terms of student satisfaction.

Financial assistance is available.
