MS in Occupational Therapy

Board Certification
Graduates of the program are eligible to sit for the national certification exam for Occupational Therapists administered by the National Board of Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT). A felony conviction may affect a graduate's ability to sit for the NBCOT certification examination or attain state licensure. After successful completion of this exam, the individual will be a Registered Occupational Therapist (OTR). In addition, most states require licensure to practice; however, state licenses are usually based on graduation from an accredited Occupational Therapy education program and passing the NBCOT exam. http://www.css.edu/Academics/School-of-Health-Sciences/Occupational-Therapy/NBCOT.html
