Adult Studies

The College of St. Scholastica meets the lifelong learning needs of today's busy adults by offering quality programs in an accelerated evening format. The Accelerated Degree Evening Program (ADEP) is offered at campuses conveniently located in Brainerd, Duluth,  Rochester, St. Cloud, and St. Paul, Minnesota.

The program is accelerated with classes offered in 8-week terms instead of the usual 16-week semester. Six accelerated terms are offered throughout the year. Each class is held one night a week from 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Full-time students register for two classes per term. For most degree programs, students can apply for and enroll in any of the six terms throughout the year. There is no need to wait for the traditional fall start.

Staff at each campus is especially skilled to assist adult learners with degree planning, financial aid and registration. Undergraduate college credit can be requested for prior learning and life experience that may reduce the time to complete the degree. This program provides a stimulating learning environment geared towards working adults. It features instructors who are professionals in their fields, comfortable classroom environments with up-to-date classroom technology and convenient parking nearby.

Please refer to the specific campus of interest for more information on specific majors and degree programs offered.
