As a college student at St. Scholastica, you get to take the lead in your own education and assume responsibility for your sucess. - Reviews program planning with students
- Works with students to address academic-related issues
- Ensure students maintain an appropriate GPA
- Assists students with the application to major at 60 credits
- Assists students with the application to graduate 4 months before graduation
Your Role in the Learning Process: - Assume responsibility of your academic journey
- Monitor, follow, and update your program plan
- Review the year-long tentative term schedule
- Web register each term by the deadline
- Set up regular appointments with advisor to review your academic plan
- Attend classes and complete all required coursework
- Communicate with your advisor/instructor as soon as you have questions or concerns
- Check your CSS email account daily, or forward your CSS emails to an address you do check daily
- Respond to requests from CSS staff and faculty in a timely manner (filling out surveys, handing in financial aid paperwork, etc.)
- Contact your advisor if you add or drop a class, take a leave of absence, or decide to take classes at another extended site
- Make sure that you have your textbooks for the first night of classes
- Follow college policies
