Vice President for College Advancement

Del Case is the College's chief development officer. He is responsible for the College's annual fund and planned giving programs, the coordination of major gift efforts, and special fundraising activities. He also supervises alumni relations and foundation and government relations. Del successfully led the Imagine Tomorrow comprehensive campaign.

Retirement Announcement

A Note from Del Case:

St. Scholastica has been and will continue to be a big part of my life. When my last day comes at the end of March, I will have been lucky enough to serve at the College for a third of my working life. It has been a wonderfully rewarding career.

College President, Larry Goodwin Added:

It is with mixed feelings that I report the impending retirement of Del Case as Vice President for College Advancement.

I regret the College will lose Del's expertise and service. At the same time, I'm glad for him personally because he will be able to spend more time with his wife Jeanne and their children and grandchildren. I expect he'll work in a little more hunting and fishing, too.

Del's most visible achievement at the College over the past nine years was his successful leadership of the Imagine Tomorrow comprehensive campaign that came in over budget at $34.8M and concluded six months early. He has also set us on the path toward fulfilling our next goal, a major addition to the Science Center. But his contributions transcend fund-raising; they include developing our Board of Trustees and strengthening our brand through marketing. He has been a wonderful cheerleader for the College. He also served as a mentor to many of us--and I include myself in that number.
